I'm in LOVE

 When I first saw this basket a year ago. I fell in love. I KNEW I had to make it mine.  That day finally arrived last week.  While I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of the post man, I excitedly made up my basket liner.  It was a little awkward in places due to the size.  But I got there in the end. And I LOVE it.

I also got my flannelette quilt back from my quilting lady.  She does an AWESOME job. She takes it from being just some fabric pieced together to being a useful quilt that is practical and looks beautiful.  I LOVE the daisy pattern that has been quilted.

Been a busy little bee

It has been a while since I posted last. I have been super  busy.

Weekend Project

This weekend I was able to get in some time on my sewing machine.  I decided to make something using a jelly roll of one of my favourite fabrics at the moment. It is Sunkissed by Sweetwater.  So bright and very Spring.
So, I made this mat.  It is towel on one side and patchwork on the other.  So, it can be used in the bathroom or anywhere.  The pattern was super easy to follow and I love how it turned out.  I may just make another in a different colour way.

A new thing!

Ok, So I caved.  I signed up and am trying to figure out this blogging thing.  Only time will tell as to whether I can keep it up.  This will primarily be a place to showcase the goodies I make/have made. So stay tuned for more......
